Details 

🕰️This is the digital version of all audition materials.

🕰️However, there are also paper copies by request. 

For the Audition...

🕰️You need to do 3 things:

1.Show up to your specific audition time according to your grade. 

🕰️(Email Ms.Majewski if you need different arrangements- we do have makeups on Thursday.)

2. Bring your audition sheet filled out.

3. Be prepared! You will only audition for your most desired part. 

🕰️Furthermore, you will only learn 1 monologue and 1 song.

🕰️Your audition sheet will indicate your other choices. 

🕰️At the audition, you will be expected to: 

1.Perform your monologue

2.Sing the song (if necessary)

🕰️No props are going to be used for the audition, 

so if your lines have props, use your imagination and acting skills.

When are auditions?

🕰️Monday, December 16th 

🕰️WHERE: Los Berros Cafeteria

🕰️WHO: 3rd and 4th graders

🕰️TIME: 2:30-4:30 

🕰️Tuesday, December 17th

More Details

🕰️For the songs during the audition, students will perform them in a karaoke-style with the lyrics on the screen during your audition. 

🕰️As a reference, click the music tab at at the top of this website to access all the songs that will be in our musical. These have both the guide versions with the words so you can sing-a-long with them, and the performance versions without the words once you have the songs down! 

🕰️Practice, practice, practice. We can't wait to hear you sing and perform!

🕰️We don't anticipate callbacks. However, if we need them your student will be notified and they will be held on Thursday. 

🕰️You are NOT required to memorize your monologue or the song BUT, it does help you prepare better and allows you to put more expression into your audition since you're not looking at a paper. In addition, this shows the directors that you're taking this seriously and that you want the part. 😃

🕰️In addition, if you're interested in being on the backstage crew come to the audition on your grade level day, and submit an Audition Sheet ,and circle the backstage crew option. We still hold interviews for these positions. 

🕰️ We are looking for students who can project loudly, exude confidence, dedicate themselves to the rehearsals, and are excited about this fun opportunity! Attitude is everything 😆
